Thanks! I've got an account at photo bucket I just gotta figure out how to get the image to appear on this site with the image button. I once put the url in between the img and /img (I had these two where they were needed: []) for my sig but it just showed a  boxed 'X' is there anything I'm doing wrong? I really want to help this site!

OK I know I haven't done this much but I did more screenshots and I'd post them with a description but I could only get one to appear the other ones say"this photo has been moved or deleted" so here's the one that made it!


These are the "is this your first time playing?" screenshots of super deluxe and super star and there's obviously a big difference in the sprite in the background in super deluxe it's an arrow or something of some sort that I wish I knew about (I wonder if anyone else knows what it is) but in super star it was changed to the kirby sprite that appears if you beat King DeDeDe in Gourmet Race!
There is something in common though and that is the effect that the sprite comes together after the two halfs come out of nowhere from both sides of the screen!

I think we should see if any one else will help with this Region Differences project like for animated images since all I can do is take screenshots and post them here!

Thanks! Here's another screenshot and the decription of what differences there are. I had more but decided to redo them as they needed it.

This is the file select screen but there is not many differences besides the japanese to english translation and the slightly more colorful letters in Super Star. I wonder what the Kanji after the number in Super Deluxe is susposed to mean. (I'm not good with kanji so maybe someone could say what it is)

I could see if there is any differences in Kirby's Fun Pak if you would like me to.

Sorry to double post but what name was the region differences page going to be called any way? Was there going to be a catchy name for it or was it just going to be Kirby Region Differences?

Also would it be possible to have this post combined with the above one?

I need a little help with what the Japanese version says but I'm sure it says win or something close to that but any way.


This is the Gourmet Race win screen it has the obvious difference of it being translated from japanese to english but there was one difference I just noticed. The area where it shows your time in Super Deluxe it says "Clear Time" while in Super Star it just says time. I also noticed the blue border around the clear time is slightly lighter in Super Star.

(I'm wondering if anyone could tell me if the "win" message is any different in Super Deluxe if you can let me know!)

and "己" (if that's the right letter) means You, so, probably "You Win".

Thanks! I just noticed that the exclamation points are different between the two: Super Deluxe has more round exclamation points while the Super Star version is not rounded!

I wonder why they changed the exclamation points anyway? Perhaps to match the letters "Win" maybe.

Here's an interesting thing I noticed in Kirby's Fun Pak!


They changed the controller yet again but didn't bother to/forgot to change the text! 

I thought this was interesting do you think I should see if I can find any more differences in Fun Pak?

I wonder if anyone knows what that kanji is on the file select screen?
