IRC Rules
By: Kirbyfreak9000
Version 2.0

Please note that these rules are subject to change, so check back often.

1. Please Speak in proper English, not chatspeak (txt, 1337speak, etc.) We do allow simple chatspeak, (brb, lol,) but if it is abused, you will receive a kick or a ban, depending on the severity. You may also use emocons.
Other languages, like Japanese, Spanish, French, etc. are somewhat allowed, just don't have a full conversation in that language.

2. Respect what the operators (Admins) say. If you don't, you'll be warned. If you continue to be a nuisance, not only will you be banned from the IRC channel, but if the offense is severe enough, you will also be banned from TKC's forum.

3. Don't think just because no staff members are around, that you can run a muck. Most members in IRC will keep logs, and trust me...staff members will know of what has been going on.

4. Most of all have a great time chatting with your fellow TKC members. Most members are sane and just want to chat. If I revive any complaints from other members, I will issue a ban on your user name, and if you get unbanned and continue to be a nuisance, you will be banished forever!

5. Bots WILL be allowed, as long as they have a useful (fun) purpose. No spam bots.

6. No Spamming. There are many forms of spam, so just use common sense.
Forms of spam include:
  • Repetitively joining and rejoining
  • Exessive All caps (A little bit is okay)
  • leetspeak (numbers replacing letters)
  • Rule #1. Chatspeak/txtspeak (This means an excess use of chat/txtspeak) (More than 2 lines of it. Stuff like lol is allowed, you will get a kick for stuff like plz and hlp, and stuff.)
  • Excess posting of links
  • Useless/meaningless posts (Random keystrokes, (Like hjhuarhdfye) that has nothing to do with the chat in any way, etc.)
  • Mass Advertising
  • Smiley Spams
  • Asking obvious questions over and over again or not "understanding" what is going on in the chat
  • And anything else that may qualify. Use common sense. If any more spam comes, I will add it here, because it seems that not many of you have all the common sense.

7. Make sure to follow all other forum rules that you would know apply in other chats you've been in. It IS a chatroom and rules will be a but more layed back.

If I am inactive for long periods of time, it is because of school. I will try to be on as much as possible on the weekends.
